EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF THE OIC ISLAMIC SUMMIT CONFERENCE 2017

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) met in Istanbul with the call of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after the US decided to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israil. The USʼ decision was accepted to be taken to the United Nationsʼ agenda, by the unanimity of the countries.

A large number of heads of states and governments, including Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Afghan President Ashraf Gani, Kuwaiti Amir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and Mauritanian President Mohammad Veled Abdulaziz participated in the summit.
